As of 3 February 2017, a Call for Proposals for the SOS Lemurs initiative is now open.
The call is focused on threatened lemurs of Madagascar and their habitats, building on an initial call launched in 2015 and applications will be accepted until midnight Central European Time (CET) on 15 March 2017.
If you are interested in applying for an SOS grant, please visit the SOS Online Portal where you will find all the necessary information and documentation required, including the eligibility criteria for proposals. Please note application instructions and templates are available in both English and French language versions. Applications can be submitted in either of these languages.
Please carefully read all the announcements, information and the documents that are available on the Online Portal. Applications must comply with all the SOS requirements in order to be judged eligible and be reviewed. Each application will need to consist of:
- Project Proposal (including logical framework, monitoring plan and timeline), in Word format;
- Budget in Excel format;
- Certificate of registration or M.O.U. for each organisation requesting funds from SOS;
- A map of the project site (and Shapefiles if available);
- CVs of key staff.
All required instructions and background documents are posted on the SOS Online Portal. Potential applicants are invited to read all the information available in order to confirm they are eligible for funding under SOS.
